A Home Exercise Program (HEP) is prescribed and emphasized as the ONLY way that you personally can work towards your goals, it helps you carry over the progress made and helps the healing to take place.

By taking responsibility for your own advancement, it increases your awareness of the injury or condition and you are better able to provide feedback. It teaches you about your body, connects your awareness to the goal and also empowers you to try to remedy some symptoms when they occur.

The activities that are prescribed are tailored to your specific needs and should be performed daily unless otherwise instructed.

A set up of the initial home exercise program (HEP) and weekly review/revisions/progressions keep going as needed, there is always room for improvement.

Exercises can be instructed and performed in person or online through video chat, progressions and modifications will be made as your progress continues or if there are any medical changes.

When an exercise is no longer challenging or difficult or too easy or "boring" it is time to UPGRADE! Let us know!

Should any exercise reproduce your pain, provoke a sharp or tingling feeling or cause dizziness or shortness of breath (SOB), please discontinue and contact us.

Once certain goals are reached, it would be of benefit to you and to your condition to maintain them. For maintenance programs, the frequency changes from daily to every other day, then down to 3x/week for best success.

An HEP can be performed at home, or outside in the yard, the park, at your gym or office with minimal equipment or modifications. All workouts depending on your space and tools and will be thoughtfully considered.

Remember to hydrate before and after for your comfort level and best health results, as well as to avoid dehydration.
